Lesson 10

After Darkness, Light

Post tenebras, lux. That Latin phrase, meaning "After darkness, light," summarizes the blaze of biblical truth that dawned in the 16th century. As the Protestant Reformers looked to Scritpure, they recovered a right understanding of the gospel, and renewed their commitemtn to teh lordship of Christ over the church. In this lesson, we will focus on the leading Reformers, Martin Luther and John Calvin. As we do so, we will discover the convictions that fueled their courage five centuries ago.
